What is releasing?

Releasing is the practice of letting go of difficult emotions instead of managing, analysing, or resisting them. It’s not about fixing feelings or figuring them out.

At OUTSIDE help, I teach a simple method: notice the feeling, allow it to be there without trying to change it, and let it run its course.

Most of us are used to pushing feelings down (suppression/ repression), acting them out (expression), or trying to think our way out of them (rationalisation).

Releasing offers an alternative way. I support you to stop resisting the feeling. With willingness and acceptance, the feeling begins to dissolve. Not because you forced it, but because you stopped resisting.

This is not about getting rid of feelings. It’s about learning how to be with them without becoming them.

As you practice, something powerful happens: you begin to notice that you are not your thoughts or emotions. You are that which is witnessing them. This awareness grows over time, as releasing becomes second nature.

This is the essence of releasing. Simple. Effective. And available to you now.
